There are many diverse opportunities at Holy Spirit Parish to live our faith and employ our God given talents.

Adult Faith Formation

Speakers, discussion groups and Bible Study to help adults continue their walk toward God.

 

Altar Care Committee

Maintains and makes beautiful the altar and sanctuary area.

 

Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

During 9:30AM Mass our pre-schoolers are invited to go downstairs to receive their own message

 

Eucharistic Minister
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Family Friendship Coffee Committee

Volunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year.

 

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Holy Spirit Youth

Opportunities to grow in mind, body and spirit for our young adult parishioners.

Lector

Reader who proclaims the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Organized by Diane Meehan.

Men’s Group
All men are welcome! Usually meets first Saturday of the month. See Calendar for meeting dates and times.

Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the direction of Dr. Alexandra Sandy Errico. Rehearsals are usually on Monday evenings, 7pm in the Church. Children's Choir rehearsal often take place after the 9:30AM Sunday Mass. All are welcome. Sing at any Sunday Mass, as your schedule allows. 

Parish Council

The PC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Holy Spirit Parish.

Rainbows
Rainbows helps children & teens who are grieving the loss of a parent or guardian whether from death, divorce, deployment, illness, or other trauma. Children learn that they can move through their grief.

ROCK Group - Reaching Out to College Kids
ROCK keeps in touch with our parishioners while they are away at school. Students receive inbox inspiration and goodies in the mail.

Social Concerns Ministry
Organizes monthly non-perishable food collections, Thanksgiving Dinner collections, Christmas Giving Tree and Lenten Corporal Works of Mercy. Contact Regina Butler or Maureen DePonte for more information.

S.O.U.L. Ministry
As brothers and sisters in Christ, we form a Parish Family.  In the Seasons of Our Lives, when one family member is in need, others must help address that need.  S.O.U.L. is comprised of parishioners committed to attending to our family needs at Holy Spirit whether physical or spiritual.

Welcome parishioners and visitors, assist people with their various needs.
