Welcome to The Church of the Holy Spirit!

The love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us (Romans 5:5)

Welcome to the Church of the Holy Spirit in Stamford, Connecticut.  Our hope and prayer is that you use this website as families and individuals for the purposes of information, evangelization, catechesis, and holiness  - that Christ be formed in all of us to the fullness of charity.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary

"The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. According to an account by fifteenth century Dominican, Alan de la Roch, Mary appeared to St. Dominic in 1206 after he had been praying and doing severe penances because of his lack of success in combating the Albigensian heresy. Mary praised him for his valiant fight against the heretics and then gave him the Rosary as a mighty weapon, explained its uses and efficacy, and told him to preach it to others." continue reading at Catholic Culture.

Join us for a recitation of the Rosary on October 22 at 7PM.
