The Usher ministry welcomes parishioners and visitors. Duties include, but are not limited to, assist with seating people at Mass, advising the priest/deacon of parishioners with special needs who wish to receive the Holy Eucharist, take weekly collections, assigning a family to bring forth the gifts at Offertory, and distribute bulletins at the conclusion of Mass. Ushers are needed at all regular masses and special events, such as First Holy Communion, Confirmation, etc. At Holy Spirit men and women may serve as ushers.
